CEO Michael Saylor revealed the company's average Bitcoin acquisition cost stands at $70,023 per coin, with total investments reaching $40.68 billion. The firm has achieved a 16.9% Bitcoin yield year-to-date in 2025, demonstrating the success of its crypto-focused strategy.
Metaplanet's Parallel Strategy
Japanese firm Metaplanet has mirrored this approach, announcing its purchase of 1,088 BTC for $117.3 million. This brings Metaplanet's total holdings to 8,888 BTC, acquired at an average price of $93,354 per coin. Notably, Metaplanet has achieved an impressive 225.4% Bitcoin yield year-to-date in 2025.
