Will XRP Futures ETF Launch Be Successful?
VolatilityShares Set to Launch XRP-Linked ETF in the U.S.
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas reports that VolatilityShares is preparing to launch an XRP-based exchange-traded product (ETP) in the U.S. this Thursday. This follows Teucrium's recent introduction of a 2X XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF), which saw a strong debut with $5 million in trading volume on its first day.
Balchunas highlights that Teucrium's leveraged product has already attracted $120 million in assets under management, with daily trading volumes reaching $35 million. He views this as a positive indicator of growing demand for XRP-linked investment vehicles.
Meanwhile, the market awaits further details on ProShares' planned futures-based XRP ETF offerings. The U.S. SEC has yet to rule on multiple spot XRP ETF applications, including one from Franklin Templeton.
